Up All Night

You may tell yourself, "I think I am ready for kids. It isn't that hard, right?" Are you? Really? Here was my night, not too far off from an average night. I do find it amazing how fast this feels "normal". Feel free to pass along to your teenagers for a "mental contraceptive".

Abby in bed at 7:00pm

Luke asleep at 7:31pm

Abby out of bed at 8:00pm - Needs a new water

Abby back in bed at 8:05pm

Abby out of bed at 8:15pm - Needs to tell Daddy "something", "um, I blew my nose"

Abby back in bed at 8:20pm

Abby out of bed at 8:35pm - Needs blankets to just be on her legs

Abby back in bed at 8:45pm

Abby out of bed at 9:05pm - "Daddy, I went potty"

Abby back in bed at 9:10pm

Luke awake at 9:56pm

Luke back asleep at 10:18pm

Luke awake at 10:30pm

Luke back asleep at 10:42pm

Luke awake at 12:31am

Luke back asleep at 1:02am

Luke awake at 1:09am

Luke back asleep at 1:21am

Abby wakes Daddy up crying at 2:40am - She fell out of bed, calms down quickly.

Abby back in bed at 2:50am

Abby out of bed at 3:10am - She used all the toliet paper in her bathroom, needs more as the pile on the floor is now no good.

Abby back in bed at 3:40am

Abby out of bed at 3:50am - Tummy hurts because she is hungry

Luke awake at 3:54am

Daddy takes selfie with kids, sends to Mommy.

Luke back asleep at 4:18am

Abby back in bed at 4:20am

Currently 4:50am and listening to Abby playing in bed (Abby has been awake since 2:40am) and thinking the over/under on total meltdowns today will be 6.

Up All Night
